Check for new mail

The value to check for new mail has accidently been raised to 30000 seconds. When I try to set it back to 300 this change is refured; FogBUGZ sticks to 30000. Lazyness or a bug?

It may not have permissions to write to your registry.
You can change the value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Fog Creek Software\FogBUGZ\DispatchoTimeout (note its in milliseconds in the registry so 300 seconds in your case should be 300000 in the registry)

Unfortunately also other items canno be changed by FogBUGZ in the registry. I did make the account I use for FogBugz 'Administrator' and when I log in with this account I can make changes in the registry, but when I make changes obver the website I do get error messages 'like invalid root in registry key ...'
What account does FigBugz use when writing into the registry?

You can see the account that FB uses by going to the IIS console, get properties on your FB directory, directory security, anon access.

Then, run regedit and make that same account has full permissions on the FogBUGZ folder and child objects.
