Export to XML or XLS?

sometimes when travelling, i'm offline but want to see what the current bugs are so i know what to work on next.

is there an easy way to export my current cases into XML or an Excel spreadsheet so i can read it offline?

i saw the technote on using Access to create reports, but i'd be happy even with raw XML or XLS.

any other thoughts?

You can install FogBUGZ on your laptop and copy your database onto your laptop before travelling, as long as you consider the local fogbugz installation to be read-only.

You can try firing up Excel and selecting "Data > Import External Data > New Web Query...".

It is in Excel 2002, and it lets you browse to any web page and import the grids into excel.

The way I use it is to set the filter I want and then switch to grid view and use that from inside excel. (Sounds confusing but it isn't.)

If you look back through the discussion board, someone created an RSS output for filters -- it allows you to get an XML (in RSS) listing of all items in a pre-defined filter.
