Can Dispatcher be installed on a second machine

We would like to install FB in a DMZ, however we do not want it to be able to POP3 back into our securenet for security reasons. Besides installing a SMTP/POP3 server on the FB would it be possible to install the Dispatcher on a machine inside the securenet, have it monitor POP3 and then call the .asp page on FB machine in the DMZ to post the new email?

Conceptually possible, but not highly recommended. Dispatcho needs to read the registry to figure out its operational parameters, and you would have to manually maintain those registry settings. Otherwise people will change Mailbox settings in the FogBUGZ UI and not understand why Dispatcho doesn't honor the new settings.

I think you'll find your life infinitely easier if you open a pinhole in the firewall between the DMZ and your internal network, specifically for POP3 traffic, and only for your FogBUGZ server's IP address.
