Editing from IE

Each edit of an IE page with CityDesk opens a new instance of the software. Bug?

Should probably be a checkbox option in preferences someplace..

There is an IE option ("reuse windows", somewhere deep in the IE Tools|Internet Options advanced tab).

(But you'll regret it, the first time you're in the middle of a seven step process ordering tickets to Japan and CityDesk decides to hijack your Travelocity window to preview.)

I think he means, if he is previewing a web page that he just built in CityDesk, and chooses the "Edit" menu from IE's toolbar and chooses CityDesk, it launches a new copy of CityDesk.  Correct me if I'm wrong..

Oh! I get it.

Yeah, that is the result of lazy programmers, not a bug per se :) Tracking down a running instance of CityDesk that happens to be editing the right file would involve keeping a systemwide table of running CityDesk instances, which is possible but would take some work. We'll consider that.
