Preview Bug

I have been getting some errors when previewing an article for some time now, and I think its a bug.

If you have multiple audiences (I have Everyone and Private), and you are writing an article and hit the preview button from the article toolbar (not from the main window) it opens a browser window to preview the article but the browser gives a  Page Not Found error.

I found that CD navigates the browser to C:\DOCUME~1\kingtiny\LOCALS~1\Temp\citydesk_3880\weblog\Index.html but the folder tree actually is in \Everyone and \Private. So the correct location of the article being previewd is C:\DOCUME~1\kingtiny\LOCALS~1\Temp\citydesk_3880\Everyone\weblog\Index.html

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

How would it know which audience subfolder to show you when it shows the preview?  My guess is this is because they just don't know which audience to show you, so you don't see either, you see the top level directory...

Yes, thats a very valid argument.

But it doesn't matter what audience the page is intended for. I am building this page and would like to see what it looks like in a browser.

The system should ask me to choose an audience or choose one for me.

Instead all I get is a page not found in IE. So I have to hit save and close and then preview the entire site and then navigate to the page. And if I still havent linked to this page from my site then I have to type in the name of the file itself in the browser address bar.

I was just hoping that in the next version (or a service pack) the preview button would take this into account.

Meanwhile I still wouldnt use anything other than CD.
