Possible to use wildcards in (fileName "smthng")?

Is it possible to use in {$ forEach x in (fileName "wildcarsa-lays-here") to select only those filenames who contain presented wildcard?

No wildcards.  You can make use of the keywords field to select subsets of articles.  If you describe your task in some detail someone here might know another way to get it done.

Ok, here we go :)
The task is to sort different articles with filename Criteria
Here is an example:
I have a directory with different articles and two (or one)versions of EACH (here an example):
So, i write a variable {$ .LoadDoc $}  :

{$ forEach x in (and (thisFolder)(thisArticle)) $}
<a href="{$x.fileName$}.doc">Please, load Word document here</a>
{$ next $}

And have in sidebar a "Please, load Word document here" with link to my (Word document) file.
But, all i need is an automatic inserting of SIDEBAR phrase based on filename Criteria: for example, "Please, load Word document here" for every .ru Article, and "Please, do not press this button" (i know, stupid example) for every .lv Article.
P.S. Sorry for my terrible english :)

I don't think it is possible using the current version.  Is it possible to reorganize this area of your site using folders or keywords to distinguish these documents?

Are you creating two language versions of articles?

If so, wouldn't the languages feature work better?
