SEO and manual questions

I was just wondering if there was a manual that I could printout and read off-line.

Also, I would like to optimize a site using the templates. Is there a way to specify a full meta tag set that will appear on all pages in the site?

I don't know if you can print the whole manual at one whack but the documentation is online

Stick you meta tags into your templates or put the tags into a variable and put the variable into your templates.  I'm sure there are other clever things you could do to generate meta tags that are specific for a given page.

An example of a page specific tag:

<META name="description" content="{$.headline$}">
<META name="keywords" content="{$.keywords$}">

I've just starting playing with the program, but it seems I could set a variable to contain a number of tags that are static, such as this:

<meta name="subject"            content="Real estate">
<meta name="subjects"            content="Real estate, condos, apartments, condominiums, Minneapolis, Minnesota">
<meta name="distribution"        content="Global">
<meta name="revisit"            content="30 days">
<meta name="revisit-after"        content="30 days">
<meta name="rating"            content="General">
<meta name="object"            content="index">
<meta name="language"            content="English">
<meta name="audience"            content="all">
<meta name="robots"            content="index,follow">
<meta name="document-type"        content="Public">
<meta name="document-rating"        content="General">
<meta name="DC.LANGUAGE"        content="English">
<meta name="document-classification"    content="Business and Economy">
<meta name="author"            content="Christian Nielsen">
<meta name="owner"            content="Nielsen Technical Services">
<meta name="doc-publisher"        content="Nielsen Technical Services">
<meta name="Publisher"            content="Nielsen Technical Services">
<meta name="topic"            content="Real estate">
<META NAME="Classification"        CONTENT="Business">
<meta name="content"            content="Real estate">
<meta name="DC.SUBJECT"            content="Real estate">
<meta name="DC.SUBJECTS"        content="Real estate, condos, apartments, condominiums, Minneapolis, Minnesota">
<meta name="DC.CREATOR"            content="Nielsen Technical Services">

and then use something like this:

<META name="description" content="{$.headline$}">

The page title and description should change for every page.

Very cool system.
