Feature request: import template from .cty

Right now templates are only easy to use when starting from scratch. That is, if you have some website developed in citydesk and you want to use the nice templates published on Fogcreek or TK's or Darren's , then you need to:
- copy templates (open 2x citydesk, edit template, copy html, in other citydesk: create new template, paste html)
- copy all variables in the same way
- copy all images, scripst etc.
- manually update all magic names

If this becomes easy (like : import template from citydesk file WITH ALL REFERENCED files, articles, variables) then it is much more feasible to use templates from other people. So not everyone needs to know all details on HTML, magic names and stuff.

Such a template import feature should give the option of overwriting your variables/images/etc when the template's ones are imported, or leaving them untouched.

If we could standardise on a few commonly-used variables and images, then applying a new template to your site would require very little effort. Your own customised variables such as SiteName, CopyrightNotice, etc and images such as logo.gif would all be automatically used by the new template when it is imported.

there is a work around for that:
local variables (**** not yet supported ***); variables that come with a template.  So for instance, the specific settings for a template may be stored local, whilst global settings (such as sitename) are stored in the global context.

What about opening a .cty file using MS Access, then selecting menu item file->Get External Data, then importing templates that way? (Not ideal, just wondering if it works).
