Error when editing html files

I've just downloaded, installed and restarted my Pentium III Windows 2000 Pro machine in order to test your software title "CityDesk" and I am having a problem: after creating a new site and when trying to edit any html file (gif files show correctly) by double clicking it the program frezes (the clock cursor appears and stays that way forever and I have to force it to close). Do you imagine what is going on? Thanks!

It could be that the DHTMLEdit control can't be created for some reason.  Usually this will result in a message box that tells you the problem though.

A reinstall of Internet Explorer should fix the problem if its a problem with that.  If you can open all windows except HTML files and articles and templates, then that is definitely the problem.  If you can open a template, or an HTML file, or an article, then that wouldn't be the case.
