bug: link forces "." at end of name

I have a file on my site with no extension. When I insert a link to this file, CD inserts a "." at the end of the name, so that the link is broken when the site is published.

<a href="xmlgrep.">grab the script here</a>

The name of the file in question is xmlgrep. I'm currently working around this by just publishing a copy of the file with the extra dot. Is there any better way to get around this?

You could "hardcode" the href, e.g. replace the PTMFOG magic name in the link with

<a href="xmlgrep">grab the script here</a>

This will make CityDesk leave the link alone (although it won't automatically create relative paths when you move things between directories).
