Two CityDesk files to one site?

Is it possible to publish two CityDesk files to one site?

I've got a site with a substantial amount of news, and I'd like to publish just  the news portion of the site to a second site. My goal is to maintain the news in one place, but publish it to two completely different sites.

When I try to publish the news to a second site, though, Citydesk sees the existing Citydesk.xml file of the second site, and deletes the existing files on the second site, making it a mirror of the first site.

Any suggestions?

You bet.

Just publish in a subdirectory. I do all my work-in-progess sites in the same domain. For Rex, I publish at mydomain.com/rex.

Yes, it works fine. You have to work with - as suggested - with subfolders. I,ve created a static link-bar, that is shared by currently four cty-files, i.e., the code is pasted as a variable into all cty-files.

good luck
