next link in folder above

We are using CityDesk for touristic route information on mobiles (i-mode). Every step on the route is linked to the previous and next steps by the "previouslink" and "nextlink" mechanism of CityDesk. But on some steps we link down to pages with detailed information, wich are located in a folder underneath the folder with all of the steps of the route (I hope this is still understandable). Using the "nextlink" mechanism in this folder would just give the next detailpage,  not the next step of the route. Is there a way to add a link in the detailpage to the "next step of the route" page in the folder above?

Next and previous are set when CityDesk publishes.  They depend upon your folder structure, and the conditions of your nextlink.

If you can do a little server side scripting, you could pass the next-page link to the detail page.  Something like this:

<a href="detailedpage.asp?NextLinkURL={$.nextlink$}>Details Here</a>

Then on your detail page you would link back to the url defined as NextLinkURL

I think my nextlink syntax is sloppy, but maybe the idea will help you out

If server-side scripting isn't an option, you can accomplish the same thing with a little JavaScript.
