I just finished a major update on a site i'm editing. Everything went fine. then i browsed the pages, looked around. Suddenly: a blank file. not missing, blank. I opened up CD an hit "preview" - there it was, in all its glory. hitting "view source" showed this:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1255"></HEAD>

which is extremly peculiar, since all templates in all sites all over use UTF-8 encoding.

what gives?

It's very hard for us to help without more information.

You haven't set that article's template to "Blank" by any chance, have you?
