A note on slow editing

CityDesk can be very slow when editing articles.

A prime culprit is a great number of blanks in a given article. Each blank gets converted into "&nbsp" and vice versa, I my guess is that this CD routine is rather phlegmatic ;-)

So if your user is copying an article from an application that doesn't support tabs (and therefore may contain a large number of blanks), subsequent editing within CD will be extremly slow, and may even cause CD to go into "not responding".

Tip: avoid blanks as much as possible!!
