Absolute addressing has strange side effect

I want to have a single side out of a larger citydesk project to use absolute addressing.

In order to get that done, I tried to ways:

1) I entered the {$ withAbsoluteLinks "" $} tag into the body of an article

2) I made a different template with that tag and applied that template to the single side, I wanted to have with absolute addressing.

In both cases, I end up with the whole site using absolute addressing for each and every address.

Any idea what is going wrong her ?

This was discussed a while back ( but we never got an answer. As far as I know this simply is a bug.

I solved my problems by explicitly specifying {$withAbsoluteLinks ""$} wherever I wanted relative links.

thank you very much.

It seems to be a good workaround.

... while this bug makes it up to #3 on the list by importance :-).

In an email to me, Fog Creek has confirmed that this is now a known bug and is scheduled to be fixed in the next service pack.
