Salary

There is no need for B or C to add a random number; only A needs to.

A totals 'random' + 'Asalary' and passes to B (sight unseen to C)
B adds 'Bsalary' and passes to C (sight unseen to A).
C adds 'Csalary' and passes to A (sight unseen to B).
A removes 'random'

The result is divided by 3.

If you do it this way, (R is the random number)

C knows A+B+C+R, and A+B+C, and hence can work out R.
If C tells B R, then B can work out A's salary. But probably won't, as B can then work out C's salary.

Of course they might have better things to do with their time.

More easy way is for all three of them to write down their salaries in a piece of paper and put it into a bowl. After that, they can take up the chits and add the salaries.
