surgeons problem I guess it works for the scenario that you suggested at the end but if consider the scenario of the problem posted it is not possible for the one armed surgeon to wear the glove inside out because once u reverse it the thumb comes out according to the second hand which he doesnot have

Latex gloves are not "handed". I.e. they fit on either hand because the thumb comes straight out the side, not somewhat out of the palm like on winter gloves.
