atoi

the atoi questions here would it work for string like this
"ASA$$$123AS" to give  you 123?

I guess not.

Well I think you are not sure with the working of atoi

atoi("ASA$$$123A") returns 0

atoi works in this manner:

It goes on until it dosent find a number and returns the value until then

thus: atoi("12A34") will return 12
