ISO:Leading Web (and e-commerce) Usability Experts

I've been asked to compile a list of the "2 or 3 leading web usability experts" in the world.  The web site we're talking about is doing e-commerce, so that's a factor too.

After some research, here's the short list I have...please let me know if you have any additions, subtractions or comments.

-- NN/g (Jakob Nielsen's group)
-- DialogDesign
-- Steve Krug
-- Louis Rosenfeld
-- UIE (Jared Spool's group)

Thanks in advance!

I nominate Steve Jones (UK), as he was apparently the first one to spot the g-descender problem.

Love these guys. If I ever had to hire a firm, I'd hire them. They seem so much more business-focused than "pure" Human Factors people like Nielsen, et al.

no, i don't work for creative good :)

Doesn't Bruce Tognazzini work for Nielsen/Norman?

There's always Alan Cooper - he pretty much defined the field of interaction design. I don't know if he does much web stuff, though.

I suspect that Alan Cooper is a has-been these days. I've seen some pretty critical reviews of his recent writings.
