exporting e-mails from MS Outlook 2000

I have a personal folder in MS Outlook 2000 filled with e-mail in HTML format. Is there a way to export them all as HTML files or
in some form that will keep their format?

The only thing I can think of (and tried) is to export them as a .PST file. However, this is a proprietary file format and requires
MS Outlook 2000 so it is not portable.

Any built-in or third-party tools that might accomplish this?

Thank you!

Don't know how to do it

Whenever I switch email clients, I used an IMAP mail account as the middleman between the two mail clients. It's pretty straightforward.

In the past, I've imported Outlook mails in to Outlook Express, which is directly supported. OE has much better tools for exporting messages, and I've been able to get to a supported format from there.

From there, you may want to try Mailbag Assistant http://www.fookes.com/mailbag/  or any number of other tools that export standard formats (like the unix mbox format) directly from OE.
