What is your favorite book to learn the MFC? Something like an introduction.
And since we're at it, something about ATL would also be nice.
None of them struck me as great. I guess I haven't thrown away Kruglinski, Shepherd, & Wingo's "Programming Visual C++". I've also used "MFC Internals" by Shepherd & Wingo and "MFC Answer Book" by (I forget who), but the other two books aren't introductions.
What worked best for me to start off with was a CBT course for Visual C++. After that, the MSDN and "MFC Internals" are all I ever use.
I don't know what the FIRST book is you should read on ATL, but the SECOND book you should read is "ATL Internals" by Sells & Rector.
