PHP/Perl project tracking software

I am looking for a link to a free/open source project tracking web based program that I think was posted on here in the last week or so. I have tried googling and searching this forum for everything I think was relevant to it but I can't find it.

It was written in either Perl or PHP and let you define projects under different companies so you could keep track of the work done for each of your custoemrs. and for each project you had the list of tasks and the document repository etc.

If anybody has seen anything like this posted on here in the last week or so and you have the link please post it.

Thanks.

(Disclaimer: It may have been posted on the codeproject.com in the "Lounge" rather than here, but I can't remember - I also searched the comments area there but couldn't find anything.)

Check the Groupware and the Customer Management categories.

Hey, if you REALLY find anything worthwhile, please post it back here. I looked at the choco thing. It was very interesting. Lots of uses of classes in PHP and they use smarty but then they still rely on classes using functions that I guess were hopefully loaded in the caller and use of global ... I try to avoid all that myself. The code really looked like it could be evolved without going crazy. I keep looking but have not found anything. Also, I don't like to waste time doing things which should be easy so that knocks out a lot of PHP stuff as it's usually written in a stream of consciousness style.

I found it http://www.dotproject.net

Thanks Tapiwa, I found it in one of your links. Now I just have to get PHP working on Windows.

I'm a contributor to dotproject and use egroupware pretty extensively.  I may be biased, but I've found some great power and even greater potential in each of the two tools.  I'm currently playing with some backend stuff to tie those two in with my phpBB forums.

Ie, when someone creates a new project, it automatically creates a new forum giving people the proper permissions.  Then once things start getting assigned to them, it puts the tasks into their egroupware calendar.

It's a bit like wrangling cats, but they don't move incredibly fast.
