OK...I accept it! I need help on this one. I'm compulsive when it comes to organization none-the -lees I'm practical about it. During the past 5 years in order to keep all my contacts, notes, 2 do's, calendar, ect. Up to now I've used couple of programs at the same time (Palm, Outlook Express and lately; Plaxo). Obviously I've hit myself one too many times with the double entry and redundancy in applications wall. So, I set myself to to find out a program that will do an.....ALL IN ONE! After some research (not much I admit, yes my fault!) a friend highly recommended Now Up to Date and Contacts. I saw it working and it seemed what I needed. The program was originally created for Mac OS so I installed the new windows based version. After many hours of installation and setup time (and many $ spent for a comp guru that came and couldn't get it up and running a %100) What do I have? All my contacts from Plaxo, Outlook Express and Palm as messed up as a 10-egg scramble! So in a nut shell what do I need? Your help pointing me out what software to get which is:
Isn't that what Outlook does?
I do not think there is any one such program which will help you manage and sync your contacts especially if you tend to have them in multiple places
You know, in my experience things in a book tend to stay where they are, things on my computer tend to get shuffled around and eventually forgotten.
Besides, the problem with PIM + PDA, is remembering to synchronize :-) Personally, I got tired of it, and just use a web-based app. If you like those, take a look at MoreGroupware and WebOrganizer.
My friend Jorge went through the same problem and swears by a program called Bonsai
