New method to make money in this economy

"Keith Franklin, president of Empowered Software Solutions in Burr Ridge, Ill., loves offshore outsourcing ... Just last year, ESS, which specializes in developing applications for Microsoft's .Net platform for Web services, earned $500,000 in revenues from fixing buggy software written in India."

This meta quote cracks me up

In a worst-case scenario, a company could end up feeling like it's in that old Dilbert cartoon in which the pointy-haired boss promises $10 for every bug fix -- and a programmer decides to code himself a new minivan.

Could be a lot of minivans in Bangalore!

Damn, if the auto link was turned on, I would've been able to click on the aforementioned link.  Joel, turn it back on, I'm dying here :)

The link didn't work for me. I had to go to http://www.businessweek.com/technology/ and find the article there...

I find I need to copy and paste twice.

The first time is out of IE. Start copy in line above link, end in line below.

Paste *3* lines into notepad.

Copy the correct and complete link out of notepad and paste into IE again.

Autolink is a good thing!!!

The problem is that once a new method becomes widely known, the money to be made falls, as everyone and their cat tries to get a peice fo the action.
