Dot Com sites that are still around

Hi:

I am giving a short talk to a bunch of students - on the blip of rational business thought that occured during the dot com boom days.

A friend Ram Dass , who is a regular poster to this board, suggested that I post here.

I am looking for links to dot coms sites that are still online and have not changed content since the go-go days of the dot com boom.

An example would be:  http://www.wishbox.com/home.asp

Also if anyone has company slogans from the dot com era; e.g From Sun Microsystems :"We are the dot in dot com"

Thanks.

I also used the Internet Archieve but the loading results are too slow for an interactive classroon demonstration - so I am hoping to have links to sites that are actually up.

I recommend that you search Google for site: *.com - I get 12,000,000 results.

Uh, Yahoo?! That's not a 'dot com' company(what, exactly, qualifies as a dotcom company anyway? Something from 1999-2000?); it's way, WAY older than that.

Try 1995.

On the contrary: http://ebituaries.whirlycott.com/

The site has not been updated in a long time but I find it to be a nice effort. Amusing.
