Looking for credit card processing tools

I've used CyberSource in the past and need to implement a solution for a new customer wanting to approve and process credit card purchases. We aren't using a traditional shopping cart. We just need an API (Java preferred) to handle the card processing stuff for us. Any recommendations? Have you used CyberSource?

I used Verisign recently and was pretty happy.  They have a java api, although I used ASP in mine.

I use netbilling.com pretty decent interface. Some nice fraud tools that can be helpful. It goes down every now and then but I don't think we have had an outage of more then an hour in the past couple of years. We use it for our web sites, our internal system and for our show room. Not sure how many different APIs they have, we use the perl one for both systems.

CyberSource, AuthorizeNet and Verisign are the big three.

I'm getting started with PayFuse. You just submit an XML file over HTTPS and get back an XML file with results. Super easy to implement and the service has been great.

Was using ViaKlix in the past but had lots of problems. Worked OK initially, but their servers were down one weekend, and the rates were inconsistent.

Here is an interesting spreadsheet comparison for the lower-end services:
