Don't take away too much...
Recently I learned about a great service from mailinator.com. What a great idea, really. Being in the position, when I needed exactly what mailinator provides, I decided to put it to work. To come up with unique name I ran uuidgen.exe -- after all, aren't GUIDs supposed to be unique? So, my brand new disposable e-mail address looked like A06F74A54AD84E7EBD222362F508625C@mailinator.com.
Oh yeah, I was just trying to email email@example.com last week
Well that's still a good idea...just use the first or last 15 digits of the guid. It'll still be pretty unique.
I think that if you're going to the trouble of guaranteeing a unique name at mailinator, you're probably missing the whole point.
Well put, anonymous poster above me.

I found that the email address A06F74A54AD84E7EBD222362F508625C@aol.com was already taken, too..

"Pretty Unique" I found that clever.
