Better than Mailinator

A similar service is offered by Spam Gourmet. However, their service delivers the message to your mailbox.

You pick a name (ex. mrbig) and signup. Then any mail sent to delicious.10.mrbig@spamgourmet.com will arrive in your mailbox. You can also reply to mails that are sent this way.

The "delicious" is a word you make up on the spot.

The "10" is the number of mails you want that mailbox to accept.

In this case, after 10 mails the "delicious" address will discard any more messages (you can reset it if you want).

Oh yeah, and Mailshell... between spamgourmet and mailshell I have more disposable e-mail addresses than I can shake a stick at. Spamgourmet eats all the ones that I don't want, mailshell sticks all the ones I do want in my junk folder regardless of who sent them.

With mailshell, you own the subdomian or domain - I own @mark.mailshell.com - so I can make up whatever before the @ and then generate rules for that e-mail address. The rules are for what goes TO that address rather than what comes FROM some other address.

http://marktaw.mailshell.com <- use this link and I make like a couple of pennies if you sign up. lol.

http://www.mailshell.com <- use this one and I don't

Some people have complained that it's a pay service when I recommended it to them, but it's not.. you get 10mb for free.

Another good thing about spamgourmet is it's an open source project, so you can install it on your own domain if you have the bizarre need for spammers to know your domain.

That made me want to go see it... and once I was there, wonder why the hell it existed in the first place...

What's the point I ask you!
