Beauty!

I wonder if "As produced by the programmers." was a result of following the spec or ignoring it? Some-how "These wankers have no idea what they want!" seems to fit in this instance.

That little cartoon has been around for decades.  Still seems relevant, though.  Which makes one wonder about progress in software development practices.

Things like that progress? I think there are small pockets of progress, but by and large, things remain the same as they ever were... Think of what an amazing feat the pyramids were, don't you think most other projects of the time suffered from a similar amount of disarray? What's amazing about the pyramids is that the pharoahs actually got what they wanted.
