Cities with the lowest unemployment

Since employment is always a favorite topic here, I thought I'd give this link to the Forbe's top 5 cities with the lowest unemployment:

Huh, let's see ...
Madison, WI - nice picture of Madison.
Des Moines, IA - nice picture of Des Moines.
Knoxville, TN - nice picture of Knoxville.
Columbia, SC - nice picture of Columbia.
Sarasota, FL - NICE PICTURE OF A TRAILER PARK?!?

I laughed so loud I woke up the baby.  I bet the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is pissed.

Being a Floridian, that picture of Sarasota is entirely accurate.

Yea, unfortunately they do a great job of showing unemployment but not per capita income. :)

Nick - it's entirely different if those trailers are owned and not rented. If they're owned then per capita, they may be wealthier than most of america.

Yeah, that is a nice picture of Madison -- but its been artificially done over and you can't even see the Frank Lloyd Wright convention center. :(

And if there is a gold bar in every one of those trailers, they would be very wealthy also.

Got a mortgage on a double-wide, huh?

A 30 year old with a mortgage on a double wide is doing considerably better than a 30 year old paying $1,000 in rent every month.
