Installers -- Quick Conversion from InstallShield

We're having major problems with InstallShield (again) with a multi-disk install. Does anyone know of any (preferably free) products which would do the same job well with a multi-disk install?

Also, I'm looking at InnoSetup. Does anyone know of a wizard of some sort that will allow me to import an existing InstallShield 7 project into InnoSetup?

Thanks.

I use InnoSetup. Actually was using it yesterday.

I do not know of Wizard.

If you're install is not too hugely complicated have you considered just filling out their text file (i.e. starting from scratch).  It may take you longer to figure out how to migrate your existing stuff, than simply to roll a new install in InnoSetup.

When using Innosetup yesterday, I made a pretty complex install (multiple INI files, multiple files, special uninstall procedure) etc. in less than 1/2 day.

I'm amazed how good InnoSetup is.

I think there is a migration tool from Install Shield Express to IS but not from the full version.

I'd 2nd the comment on rewriting the setup, it only took me about an hour to learn everything I needed to know and I haven't looked back. It really is a quality piece of software.

There's a tool that will convert from InstallShield to Inno. It's called iwz2iss and the website is here: http://strony.wp.pl/wp/mikequ/eng/iwz2iss.htm  I haven't used it so I don't know how good it is.

Inno's home page has a third party section with a lot of goodies. The page is here: http://www.jrsoftware.org/is3rdparty.php
