Excel Software Schedules

I think I remember a long time ago that Joel had made his Excel "Painless Software Schedule" document available somewhere on his site.  I cannot find it (at least it's not linked to from the article).

Am I just missing it?  Is there somewhere where I could get a copy?  Do I remember wrong, and such a document was never available?

Thanks.

1. Go to the joelonsoftware homepage.
2. Click in the search box and type in painless software schedule.
3. Click Search. ;-)

I don't believe he gives you Excel files, but he gives you a picture of what the Excel file should look like.

I've written a program that we use internally that tracks software schedules, based heavily on the Excel model that Joel describes. Contact me by email if you want a copy. It's still in development, but it is stable enough that we use it all the time (about 8 of us, multi-user).

It supports exporting to Excel, so you can do all the fancy-schmancy pivot tables if you need them. ;-) It also supports multiple products, developers and so on.
