Tracking Windows Resources Useage

We've built a new application in VB6 that we are kind of proud of.  But, we chose to build to a UI model that we like, instead of living within current OS constraints.  As such, we look and run well on the NT platforms, but we consume so many system resources that we are almost inoperable on Win 9X platforms.

Is there any kind of a tool that we can use to profile our resource usage.  I don't know if if is because we have so many user controls, with consistuent controls, or we preload a large number of toolbars, or....    If there was something that said "you are consuming X bytes of system resources in the mpsMap control of the mpsGIS.ocx component", that would be a huge head start for us.

Depending upon the nature of the problem, we may write-off 9X systems... but I would like to know where we went wrong, first.

Thanks.
