Diagnostic Tools

I have a VB application that is crashing in a particular windows environment (gpf), undoubtably it's caused by some sort of dll hell created by the installation. Does anybody know of any diagnostic tools that would help out here?

Many thanks.

Identify: http://www.identify.com

Their previous name is "Mutek" if it sounds a bell to somebody.

I was interviewed  in this company and saw a demo of their flagman product - the AppSight suite. The idea will probably be familiar to many people: setting a recorder in client's machine, running the application and storing *all* (and I do mean it) it's operation in log which will later enable to reveal about anything that happened during the run. One can re-run and repeat all steps happened on the client side, see all method calls, parameters passed, packets sent, registry keys updated, error codes returned .. the list goes on. The GUI was very rich and nice.

It's a bit expensive tool (they never told me the price, except mentioning thta it's "meaningful" :) so you probably won't be able to use it for yourself (they allowed to download a limited free version once) but if your company buys it - I think it's more than enough for diagnosing desktop applications.
