Good FAQ manager with indexing capability?

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a basic, web-based FAQ manager which would support at least indexing, and possibly other features (that I can't think of right now :-)). I've looked at FAQGen last night (http://mtvwebdesign.hypermart.net), but it doesn't seem to support an indexing/search feature.

Before I spend more time trying them out, could someone experienced recommend such a tool?

Thx much

Hi Fred

Check out
http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/FAQ_and_Knowledgebase/
and
http://www.hotscripts.com/Perl/Scripts_and_Programs/FAQ_and_Knowledgebase/

The first few in each category will be fairly good. Read the reviews there.

Ultimately, it will come down to your personal preferences, needs and resources. Perl/python/php. Flatfile or mysql. One faq per script or one script that manages a collection. One user or multiuser.

Hope that helps

Oddly, I didn't see FAQ-o-Matic listed there.

Thx guys. I went through the list, found a bunch of tools, some free, others commercial, and settled with a basic, no-brainer Perl CGI script.

A list is available here:

Thx again
Fred.
