Visual Source Safe Integration

I have been evaluating FogBugz as a replacement for our current home grown bug tracking software, and have so far found it to be great. I was recently looking at the VSS integration help page at http://try.fogbugz.com/VSSVBScript.asp and it seems easy enough to set up, but I was wondering if it would be possible to begin entering the trigger into the VSS checkins now, and when I add the script to integrate it with FogBugz, have it go back and do the checkins that we have set up.

Also, the image on that page is broken. It points at http://try.fogbugz.com/HelpPics/vss.gif

Sure, you could turn on journaling now.. Basically the journal.txt file just records all your checkins.. then the integration script goes through it and looks for any links to fogbugz cases.  So there's no harm in starting that now, without the integration working (but people won't see the changes in fogbugz which might be confusing...)
