ASP.NET Best Practices?

Fellow Developers,

Can someone please recommend some reading regarding ASP.NET best practices?  I'm investigating the possibility of converting a large Win32 desktop DB app to ASP.NET.  Issues such as n-tier development, SQL, app frameworks, etc. are important to me.  Thanks in advance!

You might want to check out the Microsoft Patterns and Practices site on MDSN:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/practices/allreleases.aspx

There's lots of good stuff there. Some are code libraries you can use, others are descriptions of best practice. Enjoy ;-)

In our shop, we use "Real World ASP.NET Best Practices" by APress, with great results. At 200 pages, it's brief, to the point, and full of truly useful information.
