Anyone using THINSTALL for .net?

We're considering .net for our new program architecture.

Thinstall looks like a good way to get around the .net runtime problem which causes the following difficulties for trial users (see below, if you're interested).

IS ANYONE USING THINSTALL?
If so, how many installs (roughly) have you used it on?
How many probems in that time?
Were they all resolved?

.NET RUNTIME PROBLEMS
1. Users with non-admin accounts (more common every day, especially overseas) can't install it. IS needs to help and that slows down or prevents trial intalls.

2. Users may have trouble (or refuse ) downloading a 22 MB runtime.

3. Installing the .net runtime is an extra step at a critical point in the sales cycle.  I'm sure some users will get confused. (We sell to a lot of grandmothers)

I haven't, but in case you missed it, you might want to also check out  the cheaper alternative that is "Salamander .Net native compiler"

Thanks.  I remember, now, someone mentioning that.

I'm wary of any company charging $500 for a product that accepts only paypal, though <g>.

Seems a bit unprofessional, and if I'm using it to distribute software to thousands of customers, I'm willing to spend another $1,000 for a better product.

I'll try 'em both.
