adding aspx controls to asp page

Hi,
hope this doesn't sound very stupid.If I were using VS.NET & wanted to add a few aspx textboxes to the existing asp page,what r the steps required.
Can I drag & drop the controls from IDE ?

Use this:
http://www.asp.net/migrationassistants/asp2aspnet.aspx?tabindex=0&tabid=1

Then use VS.Net.
