Multicolumn ListBoxes in .NET

I use multicolumn listboxes in Access all the time.  I hate that .NET doesn't seem to have such a thing (any more than VB6 did).  DataGrid is just not the same thing at all.

So what to do?  Inherit a control and create my own?  Use a COM control?  Use a regular listbox and put all my columns in one long concatenated string?

Has anyone found a good option?

I'm not familiar with the Access ListBoxes but have you tried a ListView in report mode?  This is the typical control used when a list with columns is displayed (such as with the Details view when viewing a folder in Windows).
