Information on .NET 2.0

On the authors Alex Homer and David Sussman's site (ex Wrox, now Addison Wesley) the table of contents for the "A First Look at..." books are tantalising:
http://www.daveandal.net/books/

ASP.NET 2.0:
Pre-compilation of applications, GridView control, Cookieless Forms Authentication, Simplified Syntax for Non-hierarchical and Hierarchical (XML) Data Binding, Master Pages & Site Maps (this reminds me of Visual InterDev 2.0!),  Login Control <asp:Login runat="server">, Portal Framework, Cross-Page Posting, ValidationGroup Property, Client Click Events, Database Cache Invalidation...

ADO.NET and System.Xml v2.0:
Bulk Data Copy , Multiple Active Result Sets (MARS), ObjectSpaces Object Mapping, Yukon Query Notifications,  Server-side Cursors, SqlResultSet, XPathDocument2, XmlAdapter (seems to be improvement upon SQLXML3), XML Data Type in SQL Server Yukon...

All will be revealed at PDC in 6 weeks I guess.

I guess it would atleast take 12-18 months before v2 hits commercial deployment (i.e. your web host).
