The .NET certification books by Amit Kalani

I have asked in this forum before, if anybody knows if the books by Amit Kalani are good.

The books are:

MCAD/MCSD Training Guide (70-316): Developing and Implementing Windows-Based Applications with Visual C# and Visual Studio.NET

MCAD/MCSD Training Guide (70-315): Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Visual C# and Visual Studio.NET

I have bought them from Amazon.com, and I've been pleasantly suprised. They are excellent books.

The only problem is - together they weight more than 5 Kg! :-(

But, overall, they are excellent books!

Well, if they're good then haven't you just answered your own question?

I just got the Web Services book from the library. I didn't quite see the point of buying any of the books just for a quick one time read.

So, I'll give you my opinion in a couple weeks  ;)

Yes, indeed, I answered my own question, in order to let other readers of the forum know the answer.

What's wrong with that?

*smacks head while reciting "must not be pedantic about weight vs. mass! must not be pedantic about weight vs. mass! must not be..."*

:-D

(My other favorite is "ATM Machine". Hmm... what do you suppose the M in ATM stands for?)

IF you are looking for the VB.net version, check out Mike Gunderloy's book - they are quite good.
