GAC listing for remote server

I am trying to see all the assemblies in GAC for our remote web server. Normally you can view the listing by looking at in windows/assembly folder. But when you try to view this for remore server(to which I have a network mapping), I am seeing only my local GAC listing. I may not be able to run the GACUTL everytime due to the restricted location of our server. any other options?

Why not enable Terminal Services Remote Admin on the box? This will let you do what you like as if you were a local user.

Alternatively...
The %WinDir%\Assembly view is provided by the Window Explorer Shell extension shfusion.dll. The real file system layout can be viewed by looking at the directory structure via the Command Prompt e.g:

C:\>tree %windir%\assembly\GAC
...
+---System
¦  +---1.0.3300.0__b77a5c561934e089
¦  +---1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089
+---System.Data
¦  +---1.0.3300.0__b77a5c561934e089
¦  +---1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089
+---System.Web
¦  +---1.0.3300.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a
¦  +---1.0.5000.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a
...

As you can see you can easily deduce what's in the GAC from this. So for your remote machine you'd just need to issue something like:
  C:\>tree \\MyServer\c$\WINNT\assembly\GAC

... or just enabling the Telnet service on the server will enable you to get a command prompt on the remote box. But definitely switch on Terminal Services -- it's a godsend.

Thanks for your response. Command prompt worked as your described. I am not sure about Telnet and I am going to give a try.
