alert when release date exceeded

Is it possible to get an alert or something similar if the sum of estimates (for one person) exceeds the release date?

There's no built-in feature to do this, but the best way to add up the estimates for every user is to create a pivot table in Microsoft Excel.

Once you get it set up, which is not that hard, all you have to do is open the Excel file to get each user's final date.
