You need to look at the dates on clause 5 of the agreement.

I purchased fogbugz for php just a few weeks ago and it wasn't working with PHP5. Does this beta work with it? If so I'll be happy to be one of the crash test dummies.

The dates have been updated.

Feel free to sign up for the beta (Which will work with PHP5).  The windows version will be available a little bit sooner, but we'll notify you when the php version is available for testing.

We're currently using the online trial of FogBugz 3.0. Can we import our trial bug database into the beta (if we're approved as beta testers)?

Yes, the beta would just upgrade your db for you.

Michael, will we need to install the beta on our own machine, or it will run on your server, like the trial version?

You will need to install the beta on your own machine.  When 4.0 is released, the trial will switch to being 4.0.

Given that Beta 4 is imiment can you enlighten us as to what is new?

Here's a few that I'm willing to talk about; we'll let you know about the others very shortly:

* Fine-grained user permissions based on client or department
* The ability to do any operation on any group of bugs all at once
* Improved management tools for email including first rate Bayesian anti-spam
* Discussion forums, which you can currently see in action here:
http://discuss.joelonsoftware.com/?joel

... and, as usual, a slew of refinements and improvements throughout the user interface.

Do the fine-grained user permissions apply to the forums as well as the bug database?

Any hope of having logins integrated with Windows?

Integrated logins will not be in this version.

What's with the forums? Are you saying that the forums will be part of FogBugz? Would this be for the customers?
