Suppressing notification of case changes

When I subscribe to receive e-mail notification for case changes, I not only receive notifications for changes made by others, but also by myself.  Regarding the latter, is there a way to suppress this?  It is rather annoying to receive a case change notification for a case change that I have performed myself.

There is a no self notification rule in FogBugz.  Have you edited the source or made modifications to the notification code?

No, I haven't.  I will let you know if it occurs again.  I am a newbie to the product, so it may be a simple misunderstanding.

Hi,

I just went back into a case that was opened by me, assigned to someone else, that which I have subscribed to, simply removed the version, and clicked OK.  I then received an e-mail that the case has changed.  I already know the case has changed, why do I receive an e-mail for a change that I have made?

It's because you subscribed to the case.  The subscription overrides the no self-notification rule.
