Moving Fogbugz to a new server

I need to move Fogbugz to a new server at a different location.  I am going to do it in two steps. First I am going
to move the server and change the IP address and bring
it  up at the new site.

Will the licenses still work? Or will the  change in IP address cause the licenses to become invalid?

After that, I am going to install Fogbugz on a new server
and move the databases and the attachements from the old machine to the new machine and then install the license on the new server.

As per: http://www.fogcreek.com/FogBUGZ/KB/howto/MoveFogBUGZ.html

Is there any maintenance or compacting I should/can do on the access databases at this time as the site is not live yet. If so,  what  maintenance can/should be done?

Thanks.

What will break the license is if the SID changes for the server.  The IP address does not matter. When you say "move the server" I'm not entirely clear if you mean reinstall fresh on a new server or physically pick up your server and carry it to another building.

Either way, you don't have anything to worry about, if something you do while moving breaks the license, just reinstall the license. There's no compacting you need to do.
