Some additional info per case

Hi,

I would like to know whether it is possible to specify:
- different products (where the incident has been detected)
- product version
- customer (where the actual incident has been registered)
- optionally project name (which project (if it was not the customer) registered the incident)

And surely the best would if these were not "mixed" into the description field but would be separated.

Use Project for this, or if you prefer, use Area for this.

That would be the Version field.

- customer (where the actual incident has been registered)

FogBugz doesn't track the customer who "registered" it, unless they emailed it in, in which case you can do a search for their email address on the filter page.

- optionally project name (which project (if it was not the customer) registered the incident)

I'm lost here. I don't see how a Project registers an incident. But, it sounds like you want to use Project for  your concept of project and Area for the product within that project.
