Lockup During Web-based portion of Setup

I'm installing FogBugz 3.0.19 and the installation went flawlessly. I can see the database in SQL Server and the application was created in IIS.

However, when I get to the Outgoing Email Settings screen at http://localhost/fogbugz/default.asp and click OK after leaving the defaults in place, the page never returns.

Eventually I get HTTP Error 500 Internal Server Error if I try to open another browser and browse to http://localhost/fogbugz.  Then I have to bring IIS completely down and back up to get back to the Outgoing Email Settings page.

Any suggestions?

Well, I ran the register.bat (I think that's the name) in the accessories directory, rebooted the machine, and then when I browsed to the site I clicked Login, logged in by clicking OK on the login page, and everything went just fine.
