Can't login using Internet Explorer

Previously, FogBugz worked marvelously in MS Internet Explorer, but now I suddenly can't log in anymore.

I get to the login screen, select my name and click Log On. Then, I immediately return to the login screen without an error message or nothing.

I'm using MS IE 6.0.

I *can* log in using Netscape 4, still.

I see the same problem. In my case, we have FB on our intranet, and using the server's unqualified hostname produces the behavior you describe. When I access FB using the fully-qualified domain name, or via IP address, it works just fine.

Other people in my organization report that using the hostname alone doesn't work at first, but after once accessing FB using the fully-qualified hostname, then using the unqualified name works.

Have you seen this?

My computer no longer likes FogBUGZ. (I do.)

None of these work:

http: //epcsrvr.jw.local/FogBUGZ/
http: //epcsrvr/FogBUGZ
http: //172.16.10.153/FogBUGZ/

In all these cases, I am presented with the login screen. I select my name, select Remember Me, click OK, and am immediately returned to the login screen. I have IE6SP1 set to prompt me about each and every single first- and third-party cookie, and FB is not even trying to save one (although discuss.fogcreek.com saved one).

I have the exact same problem with IE6/SP1... I suspect cookies expiry since my local TZ is 18 hrs ahead of the server TZ...?

Does this sound likely?
